1. Warranty Periods
- OEM-boxed parts: 12 months from the date of delivery.
- Aftermarket Tier-1 parts: 6 months from the date of delivery.
- Consumables and wear items (brake pads, air filters, cabin filters, fluids, wiper blades): 90 days from delivery, covering manufacturing defects only — not normal wear.
2. What Is Covered
The warranty covers manufacturing defects and premature part failure under normal operating conditions. If a part fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship during the warranty period, we will repair, replace, or refund it at our discretion.
3. What Is NOT Covered
- Damage caused by incorrect installation or installation by an unqualified person.
- Damage caused by modification or use outside the vehicle's intended specification.
- Damage from racing, track use, or off-road use where not specified by the manufacturer.
- Damage from water ingress, flooding, or submersion.
- Damage from accidents, impacts, or collision.
- Normal wear — including brake pad wear, clutch wear, belt wear.
- Cosmetic damage — scratches, dents, or corrosion not affecting function.
- Parts where the serial number, label, or security seal has been tampered with.
4. High-Voltage Component Installation Requirement
High-voltage components (battery modules, BMS, inverters, motor controllers, DC-DC converters, OBCs, HV cables, and charging ports) must be installed by a qualified EV technician using appropriate PPE and safe isolation procedures.
Installation by an unqualified person voids the warranty entirely and may create a serious safety hazard. We may require a workshop installation certificate or diagnostic report to process a warranty claim on HV components.
5. How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Email evcrate@globaltradehubltd.com with your order number, a description of the fault, clear photographs of the part, and — for HV or complex mechanical parts — an installer's diagnostic report.
- We will assess your claim within 5 business days and may request the failed part be returned for inspection (we cover return shipping for valid warranty claims).
- Upon validation, we will repair the part, ship a replacement, or issue a refund — at our sole discretion.
6. Warranty Remedies
Covered warranty remedies are: repair of the defective part, replacement with an identical or equivalent part, or full refund of the purchase price. We will determine the most appropriate remedy based on part availability, cost, and the nature of the defect.
7. Warranty Transferability
The warranty is tied to the vehicle's VIN and may be transferred with the vehicle to a new owner during the warranty period. It is not transferable to a different vehicle.
8. Statutory Consumer Rights
This warranty is provided in addition to — and does not affect — your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law, including the EU Consumer Sales Directive (2019/771), UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, and Australian Consumer Law. Where those laws provide rights that exceed this warranty, those statutory rights prevail.
